The upper is made of cowhide, which means it's extremely durable and long-lasting. The seams and laces are made of heat-resistant Nomex® yarn, and the rubber and PU outsole can withstand temperatures up to approximately 200°C. That doesn't mean you can walk through fire in them—there are special firefighter boots for that—but they can withstand quite a bit of heat. The heel area is softly padded on the outside, which makes it even more comfortable. The inner lining is also made of leather, making it very comfortable to wear.
