Dufte - Sustainable fan articles

With the goal of promoting sustainable production of fan merchandise and raising environmental awareness, we are now one of nine football clubs from the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga to support the "From Field to Fanshop" initiative. In doing so, we are partnering with the textile company BRANDS Fashion and working together to promote organic cotton cultivation in India.

The "From Field to Fanshop" project aims to offer sustainably produced fan merchandise in Germany, allowing fans to support not only their club but also better living conditions for workers in the textile industry, as well as climate and environmental protection. The project group supports 450 smallholder family farms in the transition from conventional to GOTS-certified organic cotton, thereby expanding the availability of a sustainable raw material for our textile production.

The initiative also provides sports activities for children and young people in the Indian cultivation regions. Through the "Sport for Development" program, sport is used purposefully to improve the prospects of children and young people in the areas of education, job opportunities, health, and gender equality, as well as to promote peaceful coexistence.
