Dufte - Sustainable fan articles

With the goal of promoting the sustainable production of fan merchandise and raising environmental awareness, we are one of nine football clubs from the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 to support the "From the Field to the Fan Shop" initiative. We are working in partnership with the textile company BRANDS Fashion and are jointly committed to the cultivation of organic cotton in India.

The project "From the Field to the Fan Shop" aims to offer sustainably produced fan merchandise in Germany, so that fans can support not only their club, but also good living conditions for workers in the textile industry, as well as climate and environmental protection. The project group supports 450 family farms in converting from conventional to GOTS-certified organic cotton, thus expanding the availability of a sustainable raw material for our textile production.

The initiative also provides sports opportunities for children and young people in Indian agricultural regions. The "Sport for Development" program uses sport to improve the prospects of children and young people in the areas of education, job opportunities, health, gender equality, and promote peaceful coexistence.
