The "Book of the Build" is a piece of unique German football history. This high-quality and richly illustrated work is dedicated to the immense commitment of Union fans on what they themselves called the most beautiful construction site in the world. Episodes, characters, processes, and amusing anecdotes surrounding the months of toil at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei are captured in various chapters, written down and compiled in bound form not only for interested posterity, but especially for the present.

Without claiming to be exhaustive, but with that broad spectrum of tasks, problems, people, and unique aspects that this widely recognized fan initiative offered and still offers. Working together welds 1. FC Union Berlin and its loyal companions even closer together.

The Book of the Build documents this. From the first step of the truss to the last roof beam, from breakfast to the night watch, from the project manager to the student assistant: the work sees itself as a reflection of the commitment of all stadium builders who made their very personal contribution.
