Honey from the original Köpenick stadium bees. This fine blossom honey comes from our industrious bee colonies in Köpenick. Its consistency is creamy. The honey should be stored in a cool, dry place. This dark spring honey showcases the full diversity of the year's first blossoms in Köpenick. Sycamore, horse chestnut, and many other spring blossoms give it its special flavour. It is pleasantly tart and fruity, with a fine malty note and a robust aroma that lingers. Natural crystallisation has already begun, indicating its natural purity. In cooperation with beekeeper Steffi Gräber from Müggelheim, the three red and white beehives were set up on the stadium grounds in mid-August to provide the "Oberschöneweide", "Köpenick", "Müggelheim" and "Adlershof" colonies with a new home near the forest.

With this project, the association hopes to make a small contribution to combating the decline in bee populations. As a valuable byproduct, honey from maple, black locust, and linden blossoms could be harvested as early as next spring, depending on the weather.
